We consider the first visit to our offices to be one of the most important visits at Smile Shapers Dental Clinics. During this initial visit, we collect all your necessary medical history information. Additional information about your visit and about our office will be provided to you, and there are more resources on this website for your future reference. Whether your initial visit is a consultation or a dental cleaning, we strive to make you feel welcome to our practice in every way possible!

Appointments

In order to make scheduling appointments as seamless as possible, we request that you call one of our offices to discuss any openings or schedulings. You can request an appointment via this website, or call the number directly during our open office hours. Our friendly staff will assist to you in scheduling and final confirmation.

Insurance & Financing

We are proud to offer the high level of care we provide to all our patients. In order to maintain this, we have established the following financial policy:

Payment

We have 2 options for payment:

We can submit your claim form on your behalf and have the insurance cheque come directly to us. What that means to you is that the difference is due and payable at the time of service, but the balance is paid from your insurance carrier to us directly.

Alternatively, we can submit your claim electronically and the cheque goes directly to you. Usually you can expect the cheque or direct deposit within 24 hours to 7 days.

We accept cash, cheque, Interac, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Dental Benefits

We will submit insurance claims electronically on your behalf. If your insurance company does not accept claims electronically, an insurance form will be mailed on your behalf.

It is your responsibility to provide us with accurate insurance plan information and inform us when there are any changes to it.

At your request, we may submit a pre-authorization to your insurance company to determine if you have dental benefits for any major treatment.

Our concern is for your dental health. We always recommend treatment that best suits your individual needs regardless of your insurance coverage.

Your dental benefits are a contract between you, the insurance company and your employer, not the dentist. We are not affiliated with any insurance company, but will do our very best to communicate with your insurance carrier on your behalf.

Most Dental benefits plans do not cover 100% your dental work. Moreover, insurance companies may not notify you of changes of insurance policies. Please examine the insurance policy details carefully, and if unsure, please bring the policy information to our attention that we may help advise you of your benefits.

0% Payment Plan

Most of us have many financial obligations that can fortunately be paid on a monthly basis. Our patients asked us if we could do the same with dental costs. So we did!

Our plan allows you to spread the cost of your dental treatment over a 6 to 18 month period interest-free, instead of paying a large sum all at once. All treatments over $500 are eligible for our 0% Payment Plan and include general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and orthodontic procedures.

With our Smile Shapers 0% Payment Plan you can afford the smile you’ve always wanted while paying for your treatment in affordable monthly payments to fit your budget. This way, you can get the treatment you need or want now – instead of waiting and possibly compromising your oral health.

The application process is easy and will only take a few minutes!

A dental emergency might mean unexpected pressure and worry. If you experience a dental emergency and need financial support, your application can be processed while you are at the dental centre.

We do not charge any interest on our approved payment plans. We require only a small one-time set up fee to cover administrative costs, credit verification and management of your account over the term. The set-up fee is based on the number of months that your treatment fees are deferred (6, 12 or 18 months).

All details and monthly costs will be explained to you prior to your acceptance of a Smile Shapers 0% Payment Plan.
